Hi, I’m Jenna 🙂
As a child, I always dreamed of two things- being a teacher and a mom. Now, I am living the dream and driving a mini van! I always joked that would never happen, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My full time gig is working as an Elementary Computer teacher, where I am fortunate enough to bring my kids to school with me every day as a teacher mom. I love to chat about fun things to do with your family, favorite products, travel tips and of course, frugal ways to have fun as a family. When I am not playing chauffeur to my three children, ages 10, 7, 5. I also enjoy working out at the YMCA, watching reality tv, and hanging out with my girlfriends.
I started blogging at Bucktown Bargains while on maternity leave from 2011-2014. After being back to work full time, I found it harder to search for deals and post throughout the day, but I found myself still being a resource families. Eventful Moms a way for me to share some of our experiences, favorite products, family travels and just trying to make motherhood eventful and creating awesome memories. Make sure to sign up for the Eventful Moms Weekly Newsletter.
ABOUT THE FAMILY
I live with my husband, Bob, and three children in Dunmore, Pennsylvania -right outside of Scranton. We have been happliy married for 11 years now (got married on New Years’s Eve!), Bob owns a landscaping company Lawn and Order and is always on the go. He is the creative genius behind most of the landscaping in our area! Our two boys are now helping dad and learning a little about hard work and financial responsibility 🙂
Lucas, at the ripe of age of 10 loves to create youtube videos and build Lego sets. He is active in the theater and can play his heart out on the piano. Check him out on youtube at TheLucasUrban. Mollie is the queen of the house. She is 7 going on 20 and can run the show – and a classroom. With dreams of being a teacher, Mollie enjoys playing school, Barbies, house with her dolls, taking dance, theater and playing piano. Mollie was just under two when her brother came along and was helping mom change diapers. Jaxon is the baby, now 5 years old. You know when they say that the third child puts you over, I think they were talking to me. Jack Jack is always on the go and taking chances. The typical third child, Jaxon is always chasing his big brother and big sister but can totally hold his own. Just like his big brother, Jaxon loves to build Lego sets, play with Pokemon cards and all sports.
